Hide size?
We have a outside set up with a two storey hutch (sleeping area on top level) and enclosed attached run. I'm looking to get a hide/sexonaldary sleeping area as newest bun isnt keen on upstairs sleeping area. If I went for something like the wooden box hides sold on eBay what is the minimum size I need? I usually go with bigger is better but I don't want to take up run space if I don't need too.

Re: Hide size?
Welcome to our happy family love We always say the bigger the better, the more space bunny has to run around in the better. My Holly is completely free range so it is not something I have had to consider but please keep us posted.

Re: Hide size?
They have a hutch and free access to their run so this would literally just be an additional sleeping/hiding space. They come out in the garden whilst I'm about but I don't want to take up too much exercise space as the time out of the run can vary day to day.
Maybe I could make something on legs so they can still run under it

They would like that love, Merley loves to run through and go under things, it s a big game to him as it has been for the piggies I have had in the past. Please let us know what you decide.

Re: Hide size?
Hi, welcome.
Yes, bigger the better but can you find a hide that will also provide sitting/look-out space on top? That way you wouldn't really lose space, you would in fact have a sleeep'hide place AND a new play object.
