Hardest wait I have ever done
It's took me a while to get back on.
Last week thundercracker showed signs of gut stasis, he heavy molting so that's nothing new. He was starting to get better but then his recover just leveled, he was returning to his old self.
He wasn't washing his toys, eating hay and not eating all his food. His weight had plummeted between the gut stasis and not fully recovering, for once he was tolerating being syringe fed.
Noticed rapid breathing and he was attacking the vets and nurses at our vets( so not like him), so we referred to the Edinburgh vet school where he is now currently in an incubator.
There is shadows on his lungs but they haven't had the full CT scan report back so the can't confirm what it is just now. He is being giving two strong lots of antibiotics which should have kicked in by now.
Over the last two days he has not gotten worse but neither has he improved, so they are assessing him between 9-11 today, if they can not drop the oxygen levels then it an indication that he will not make a full recovery. We will have to say goodnight to my baby boy.
He is 6 on the 21st, I have all his presents and party stuff in the house, so if we have to say good bye we are going to give him a birthday party first.
Our hearts are breaking, this is the longest wait we have ever had to do.
Pray hard for my little boy

Oh, hell. I'm late seeing this awful bit of news. You know we all sympathise and know just how you feel. He was a lovely boy with a great name that I believe he lived up to.
Thinking of you, and Run Forever Free, Thundercracker.
