Hiya

I wanted to ask on here if anyone has bought run covers from the Run Cover company on Ebay? Are they reputable? I really want to get one, but it's a lot of money and I want to know if the company is trustworthy.

I think a lot of people have ordered and they have been happy... I did look at his hutch covers but they are so expensive I am afraid I cannot afford them.

I don't like the hutch covers as I think it doesn't allow enough ventilation, but I really need a run cover for the winter. I think I'll just go for it.

I just tacked tarpaulin over my runs, it cost about £4 from Wilkinsons.

Sooz - how did you stop it blowing in the wind? ie, how do you attach it down?

If you dont want the full cover we just ordered the fronts from him so we can change them easier and he put elasticated straps on them so we could secure them to hooks on the sides of the hutch. We had some 6ft 6 x 6ft 6 ones from him and it was £23 for a fly net front and £40 for a waterproof one

I use small metal tacks (also from wilkos) and run it over the top and down two sides to give them shelter but also area's where they can enjoy the sun/feel the breeze in good weather.

Im pretty sure the company is ok Very Happy I have ordered from them but my covers seem to be stuck somewhere between being posted and arriving Sad The guy is very helpful, im a complete idiot trying to measure things Embarassed When mine arrive I will let you know what they are like but ive been told they are brilliant Very Happy

Plus ive seen more expensive ones about for smaller hutches, and the rate I go through losing plastic sheets in the wind or them ripping they will pay for themselves Laughing I got three and they were all around £80 each and that is for a 6ft happyhutch with the run underneath, a double 6ft hutch and a seperate large run. Both the hutch covers are the rain proof ones with the thermal thingy. I cant wait for them to arrive so I can get into the hutches without having to remove a whole sheet then try and put it back on again

As for keeping plastic sheets attached to the hutch I use bricks around the base and on top of the hutches, I have tied them to the runs in the past but thats such a pain when you have to tie and untie them especially when it starts getting dark when you leave work
