Giant African Land Snails
I have several young snails available for rehoming. They are fascinating creatures and like to live in groups. Just make sure you don't overlook any eggs, because once they have hatched, it is impossible to kill the mini snails.
PM me if you are interested.

I still have some snails that are looking for new homes. They are about 2 inches big now.

Re: Giant African Land Snails
Isn't that what rabbits do if you let them?
Ok, snails don't do binkies, but they move around quite a lot and when they go up the tank sides, you can watch the muscles in their "sole" work, looks like little waves. They make their shells bigger, and they like to dig in the moss and compost. They can be quite noisy when they eat, especially cuttlefish bone. They are more active if kept in a fairly dark spot, when you keep them next to the window they sleep most of the time. Their favourite thing is when you rinse them with warm water, then they come out and enjoy the shower.
I rehomed some snails to Bobtails rabbit rescue, Jim's daughter is their new owner.

I suppose it's because they are not furry, I just can't imagine having one as a pet, I really don't think I could sit and watch one.

I think they can live for about 5 to 7 years.

If you are thinking having some of these as pets Theo I will never visit you again
I have a real dislike of snails - I had to shut my eyes as I scrolled down over the pictures

Sorry, yes, they have all found new homes now. The last two are now living with Hetty (Spider).
