Picking New Bunny up Today!! U/D 1 little pic added

i left them as they were andy told me whilst i was at work Lola did a little grooming of Alfie (new name) although she's definately the boss so hasn't groomed him as much as he does to her. I feel a bit bad because he keeps asking for a groom and she ignores him

well he has to know his place

i had a much better sleep tonight although they kept me awake ripping the cardboard i put down for them to wee on:lol: Alfie didn't know what to do at first but Lola's a very good teacher and soon had him chewing away.

I am going to put a litter tray in there this afternoon, will this be ok?? It's just that my ensuite is looking quite a mess and smells bad:oops:

We have a few little chasing incidents but no nipping or humping. Alfie just follows Lola for some attention. I was going to move them to the bigger bathroom today but i am going to leave them for a few more days.

Is it ok to put some toys in now? Lola is getting very frustrated at being cooped up

ahh looks like they are in love. i would think is ok to add litter tray - i can imagine the size of the 50 gallon wees and golf ball poos coming out of those 2!

Should be fine to add sterilised & washed litter trays and toys now, just be prepared that post bonding litter training often goes to pot anyway for a while!

i came home early from work to see the bunnies (i lied to work) the buns were fine though. Been alone for 8 hours now. I have just washed a litter tray i have that Lola hasn't used before so it should be neutral. I also have toys from the hay experts which are brand new. i am going to put the bunnies in their carrier and clean the ensuite (its so smelly) when do you think they can go in the bigger bathroom??

Glad to hear that it seems to be going well. Hope Lola realises how lucky she is.

How lovely to hear that all is going well. When I bonded Herbie and the girls we moved them into a bigger area within hours ( bonding beginners ) but all was OK.

If there has been no real aggression I would be considering moving them into more space.

well they are in the new room. They have shared the carrot roll, and both been in the litter tray for a sniff and munching some hay. there has been no chasing at all and they have been in there for 3 hours now. Neither of them are particularly agressive buns anyway I know we are still in the early stages of the bond but i think they like each other and it will turn into love over time :luv:
