Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
I don't think she's keen on this bonding game...she cleared the baby gate without anything on either side. She's done it 3 times today already!
We are now trying to find something to keep her in while we are asleep!

Bless her - I'm finding with Bella that when she wants to get somewhere, she will do absolutely everything she can to get there - and usually does

Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
Who are you bonding her with? I've not been on here much the last couple of weeks - had an infection that's worn me out - so think I've missed that.
I think Bella would just pick up the wood and move it out of the way - she's been breaking out of their cage during the day - I've managed to foil her for now, but I have no doubt she will try again

Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
i am bonding her with Houdini from BARC. he's going to be called Alfie though i think. We only started today so i'm still at the heart in my mouth stage. After numerous texts and calls to Sooz i am calming down a little now

Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
You're being very brave, but then again after getting Bella and Tarquin to fall in love wasn't easy but it was worth all the upset and stress. Not sure I'd want to bond again, but who knows - seeing the end result is so wonderful. Can't wait to see piccies.

Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
she ran straight into her room but she's a big girl and can't really hide so i popped her back in. she has been sharing food with Alfie and did a happy flop in the shower earlier so she can't think he's that bad. she did rip her nail off jumping over the gate but she hasn't hurt herself and its not bleeding

Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
Morning
How did Alfie and Lola get on overnight? Did you get mcuh sleep?
Well off to get dressed and do battle at work...if you hear fireworks-I put my points forward in writing to the management about my objections to being treated like an unhappy mushroom!
Big huggles for a lovely monday *wonders if positive vibes can be sent her way as feels today will be tougher than normal*

Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
Good Morning everyone. Well it was a tough night for all concerned. I had no sleep through fear of fighting. They were sat together for a little while at about 5am. When i turned the light on i found what looked like blood sprayed up the wall. I have checked them both over from top to toe and can only think it is from where Lola pulled her nail out and she has aggravated it
H isn't as inncocent as he looks, he's turned into a humpy littke monkey with some impressive honking at times
Vibes for you this Monday morning, i hope work goes okay! I am there 12-8pm tnight. The bunnies will only be alone for 2hours but i am putting one in a pen in the same room as the other (as advised by Sooz ) to stop me worrying

Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
Hope everything continues to go well, the grooming sounds very promising. You should have seen the bloodbath in the spare room when Mack pulled a claw out, it was everywhere!
Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
you're bonding her with Houdini, yet Lola is the one doing the escaping!

He was such an embaressment to the name Houdini he is now called Alfie :lol!:
Re: Lola jumped over the Baby Gate!
yeh i dont think he really suited Houdini as he is a little scardly cat bless him. I'm hoping once they are settled all he needs to boost his confidence is a loving home Well they were left for nearly 4 hours today and were fine. Been sat together and more grooming from both this afternoon. They will be left alone from now on - even when i'm at work as i hope we are over the worst. Alfie has stopped humping Lola and i think accepted his position in the hierarchy

Sounds great - can't wait to see piccies.
Was dared elsewhere to use humping bunny emoticon, not sure whether I'm brave enough to use it twice
