New bunny! Empty New bunny!

Today, almost a year after losing Oscar, i made the decision to get a new bunny. Her name is Poppy and she is a lionhead cross, she is absolutely stunning (i'll get piccies once she has settled in a little bit).

She's not a rescue, i bought her from a petshop but they take in rabbits that have come from home litters, not mass breeders. I know there are hundreds and hundreds of bunnies in rescues but I fell in love with her, the first time it's happened since Ozzy and I just knew I had to have her. She's currently settling in but she's a very bonny little thing, lovely bright eyes.

Aww, how old is she?

I'd love to see some pictures. I'm really pleased you finally felt able to giva another rabbit a good home.

She's 6 and a half weeks old, I know thats younger than she should be but i'm gonna keep a very very close eye on her and least someone with good bunny knowledge and people close to her for help if needed than someone who wouldn't know what to do if problems arose.

I promise piccies as soon as she surfaces, she's been nibbling on hay but is resting in her bed at the moment.

When she explores her ears look like helicopter blades, as if she could take off hehe xxxx

Very Happy thankee.

She's been up and about this morning, she's found her food (and put it everywhere), is eating hay, has had a nice drink and is now cleaning Smile. Sooo cute Very Happy
