will rabbits eat through nylon mesh netting?

We are (sigh) building our once and for all final enclosure this weekend. (another, big, sigh)

trying to decide what material to use for the roof. The sides will be galvanised mesh steel. We dont have foxes here but I obviously want them to be safe. I am thinking nylon mesh as needs to be really easy for us to get in and out of and it will only be a metre high so we need to be able to walk around. Any ideas? Sorry not sure to post here or property ladder its just that its more a question of do they eat it, if you see what I mean.

It's funny cause it's true!

I used to have Alfred blocked off from the rest of the house by a plastic baby gate and he chewed the whole dang thing. Heavy duty plastic! I would turn it upside down and backwards when he had chewed a hole in one part and he eventually chewed through all four corners that he could reach

Just want to confirm this. My Dad had some spare when I moved back so he used it to protect his climbing roses that were up the sides of where M & F live now.

OH had (stupidly in my opinion) left his new tile grouting trowel on the table in the conservatory. Gabriel has chewed the corners off it. It is fortunate for Gabriel he is so endearing

yes I dont know why I didnt just assume the little blighters wouldnt eat through it!!

Gabriel is just the best. He has also chewed Chris's cacti to within an inch of their life and is on a mission to relieve his run panels of their plastic covering. These then rust nicely in the rain.

His piece de resistance tho is to sit under a table and shred all his poos. When he is done there is a mountain of shredded poo which works it's way oh-so-well into the carpet!
