Charlie Has A uti/ Now Stasis vibes please.

I went out today and he seemed a little quiet. I picked him up to give him a once over and he has incontinence again. His tail and legs were wet. I have given him the same dose of Baytril he had last time and will chat to Helen about this tomorrow. He is eating and drinking well and pooping just fine. I have just given him some of his fave, nommy narna! Yummers! Poor Charlie. I have also still got the cream he had last time so have popped that on his legs and base of his tail. Poor Charlie. Can we have some vibes for his wee wee problems.

Oh Poor Charlie, hope he gets better soon. We were told to give Thumper dandelion, apparently it's supposed to help.

Vibes for Charlie hun, Dandelion is a Diuretic, cleans the kidneys and is thought to reduce the amount or Uric acid in urine which lessens the stinging and flushes the UT.

Good luck with the bath. Last time I had to do that was with my previous rabbit Bambi. I got her in the sink, bless her, and was gently washing her off when she leapt three feet vertically in the air, drenching me and the rest of the kitchen.

Ha ha, My rabbits get twitchy backs with bananas too, but I have to say Rory just sits in his bath like a good boy, does make him do a little wee wee though.

Hi guys, I have Charlie booked in at vets for 14.10. I am just not happy with how he appears to be in himself. Will let you all know how he gets on. Chance is going to to have his eye looked at again. Never rains but it pours.

Back from vets. Very bad news for Chance. However Charlie's news is better. He is to stay on the Baytril and cream.... however here is something that has totally thrown me. The vet said that recently they had a rabbit with a UTI and the owner did a lot of research and found that Alfa alfa can cause the problem as it builds up calcium deposits? Anyone ever heard of this? He has told me to change Charlie's feed. He is on A and P, but has also be on SS and had the UTI on that too? Any ideas anyone?

Charlie has now gone into stasis. Appointment made for tomorrow morning. I am so stressed.

Just found a big lump in his tum. Off to vets at half past. Vibes for this little man please.

Right just back from vets. He has an impaction of faeces. It is large. He had his tum examined yesterday and it wasn't there. He has had a metaclop jab and I have been sent home with Fibreplex and Science recovery. I am now to syringe feed him to see if I can get things shifting. I am so stressed. Vibes for this little man and for Buddabun when she reads this.
