By the by, how ridiculous is it that a newborn baby has to have its own passport... With a photo and everything. Yeah, 'cos they're not going to change much over the next few years
I remember I was on my granny's passport until I was about 10!
I was just in awe of this little thing. Yesterday was amazing because he was moving around so much, doing flips and somersaults etc. Today was amazing as he stayed stiller so we could see things like him taking big gulps of fluid and swallowing them, rubbing his face, sucking his thumb and stretching.
It's literally a 7cm human being inside me somewhere. Mental. I still can't relate what I've seen on the screen to my podgy belly, I'm wondering when it's going to sink in that I will actually have my own child in 6 months or so
Only 7 cm? I find that hard to comprehend, 7 cm shouldn;t even notice and yet look at your bump!, amazing

I'm just fat
Well no my uterus is the size of a coconut apparently, or a 'softball' whatever that is, so it displaces all my other organs.
I can feel the top of it about half way between my pants and my belly button, the rest is just displaced organs and intestines and that Hence the 'bump' which isn't baby yet but it's definitely not bloat any more... I've just been to a party and got the looks from people I don't know as if to say "is she pregnant or just fat?"
Not a nice stage to be in

the heart thing is mental isn't it. I could even see the heart at 7w when it was half a centimetre long. Couldn't make out anything except a blob but there was a little flickering heartbeat, clear as day.
I take it the owners paid for the USS rather than it being a diagnostic thing, there was nothing wrong with the mum?

The heart beats so fast, you can see it so clearly on the USS! The vet was palpating the cat, to see if she had any kitties, but she couldn't feel any! The mother had these enormous mammarys bursting full of milk and she was still 2 weeks to go . they thought she was having a phantom, so they gave her a scan to make sure she did have kits. The vet couldn't diagnose what was going on with her, becuase she was so full, it was putting pressure on the skin, and starting to bruise . I didn't get to see the full diagnostic because i had to go home halfway through.
When is your next scan due H?!
