OH finally caved to the pressure

When we move in a couple of months i wanted Lola to have our spare third room so i could have a clean and tidy kitchen. At first OH said no...he caved yesterday and said as long as the floor is lino she can have the room. Whoop Whoop...he's even getting her a sofa

I'm so happy. I feel better thinking she's safely in her own room and i can finally have a clean kitchen and a hay free floor

well...she won't be having any old rubbish thats for sure she's taken a liking to our rather expensive sofa...she looks at you in disgust if you sit on 'her' sofa...Madame Lola

he said we will need somewhere to sit while we play with her and she'll want somewhere comfy..well who am i to argue, its his money i can't wait to move now, i was worried before that she would have to live in the utility room but i would not allow it as it seemed like a dungeon to me

Awww, she'll be so happy! Bertie has our guest room, sleeps on the bed and has a cardboard box multi level warren! He doesn't even have a cage now. We figured that he may as well seeing as it's empty a lot more then its used, and when guests stay, he just moves into the lounge.

i'm really excited to get into the new house. hoping it will be the beginning of sept. we have decided on a metal frame futon in case Lola decides to have a little chew (which isn't unheard of) Luckily we will have a guest room so Lola won't get evicted too much. She won't have a cage, she's just too big and would not be happy about it one bit. she's been free range most of her life and i can't wait for her to get her own space

I thought it was just Tibbs who liked to steal the sofa! The other day she was on my lap, and I leaned forward to pick up my drink - quick as a flash she was off my lap and plonked herself on the cushion I'd been sitting on.

I'm so happy for Lola - and mega jealous!

Tibbs sounds cheeky! they sure know what they like don't they and the grass is always greener
