strange, spoiled rabbits!!! Empty strange, spoiled rabbits!!!

I bought the rabbits a HUGE big cushy dog bed. Its on the earth in their enclosure as its too big for their hutches & anyway I cant seem to train them to stop using ALL the hutch space as a litter tray (both hutches mind you Shocked ) so I put it on the earth but under a tarp in the most sheltered bit of the enclosure. So far some suspicious sniffing but no cuddles.

I was in there for ages and trying to groom Moon who is a total mystery to me at the moment - she is hormonal. I managed to pick her up and hold her & brush her but I didnt get much hair out, nor did it feel clumpy at all. But her colouring is so weird!! She used to be all silver now she is silver but with really dark patchy grey bits, and when I had her up close she even has a strange tint of pink here and there Hmmm I really dont know what is going on there!

She then went and flopped out on her side when I released her, then she ended up running like a look for no reason and squaking and squeaking like a guinea pig into her tunnel & tent?? Very strange! The others are far less loony at the moment, I do think she needs spaying perhaps.

Mine are funny like that too. If you put anything new into their compound, they are over straight away sniffing and chinning like mad.

Alan has been cutting an apple tree back hard and has put the branches into their compound. They are just loving eating all the bark. However, they are consequently, not as hungry from their tea and not willing to go into the hutch easily.

Wolfie has been back in excavation mode. I think I will call him JCB from now on. They have dug so much spoil out of the burrow that they have created a huge ramp inside their run. It's like Masada!!
