More monkey videos ETA: 3 more added

Ok tell me if you're sick of these but the monkeys came round yesterday morning and Mr B and I sat outside for ages feeding them. The cats were very jealous as they were shut inside

Anyway here are some videos. I have been uploading since yesterday morning (it's not Sunday 3pm) but due to our 'broadband' internet's snail pace it means I've only managed to upload 4 of the 9. So here are 4:

Oh and there is no monkey love in these - they are a PG rating And apologies for the ticking noise - it's the only video recorder we have on our pants point-and-shoot so it makes all sorts of weird noises. And the quality is pants (we only bought the camera to put in one of those underwater cases!!! it was a cheapie).And the zoom is digital (I didn't know this at the time) so it just makes a big blur . When this one pans left they are trashing my neighbour's bin! There were only crushed drinks cans in there but still


Mr B's feet feature quite heavily in these vids but it give you an idea of how close they get. The won't quite eat out of his hand yet but it's only a matter of time before 'Big Daddy' braves it


This was Ginge wanting to get out and meet them. He's so desperate but they just start posturing towards the cats so it's not worth the risk...


Oh and the one with the mangled foot & tail who sort of shuffles, he was the one I met in my kitchen. Scary mofo!! I will add the others as they upload but it could take weeks at this rate!!!

You are so lucky to have a chance to live somewhere so totally different from Europe. Monkeys in your garden :luv: I don't know why people are so anti about them because you can see how timid they are. There is NO WAY they would attack you , unless they were cornered.

I know lol. In one of the vids you can just hear Mr B and I discussing how clearly 'violent and aggressive' they are . If you run at them or provoke them, they will bare their teeth and posture. People take that as 'unprovoked attack'.

There is no end to people's stupidity and jumping to conclusions.

And yes, we are so lucky. I often get complacent with the day to day things here and forget just how lucky we are to live here. Monkeys in the garden? It's mental

These guys rock! I can't wait to see them in the flesh. Your cats crack me up. When Ginge was meowing... Mr Darcy was actually dragged out of his snooze next to me, to have a starled look around!

The cats are just so desperate to get out and see them. But the monkeys see the cats as a threat so start posturing etc and I just don't want to risk it. They came around while the cats were out that time and we left it 5 mins just to see but it wasn't going to work and I wasn't going to risk having my cats ripped to shreds just for some curiosity.

Ooh and Charl with our new cat litter cage thing it means if you're a bit nervous about meeting them face to face we can sit in the cage and they come right up to it and reach through foor food etc.

Although I'm still worried one of them will pee on me or something
