Bunny alert, 1 a..m.
So we've had Paul's youngest bro staying the last 10 days, which means Bertie's been dispalced from his room into our lounge. We've had a few late nights an all and Berts's little routine has been a bit disturbed, but he's seemed to cope OK.
Last night we were shattered and we all went to bed by 11ish, and bertie was not happy to be left up alone. We went straight to sleep and then at 1 a.m. I was having a great dream and then there was this thud on the bed, and feet moving over me, it was very surreal, and then there was this rabbits head poking into my cheek I was soooo asleep, this is not the first time this has happened, but it's really alarming, and then it's realy lovely! I had to usher him back into the lounge and close the door, bless :luv:

Aw! Bertie wanted to party Jay and you were being a spoil sport.
I like your new siggie but it confused my poor old eyes for a while. It is a bit of an optical illusion.
I thought Bertie was in a big plastic ball at first and that he was stepping out of it. it was only
when I covered half of it I realised he was sitting with his back to the wall and that the ball was
actually shadows.

Re: Bunny alert, 1 a..m.
he's just too adorable! It's your own fault Jay for changing his sleeping pattern - your sleeptime is clearly his playtime

I swear, some of the stories you tell Jay, he's more like a kid than a bunny sometimes! :luv:
Re: Bunny alert, 1 a..m.
But you know, he really is a bit like a kid. I never thought he'd be like this, but he is an incredibly expressionate bunny, and because we don't treat him any differently than if there was a person living here, I think he has become like a person I still spend a lot of time every day giving Bertie 1-1 time and play, cos I'm very aware that he's only got us for company...poor soul
Re: Bunny alert, 1 a..m.
LOL Have you had the 'surrogate kid' comment from people before? I didn't mean it like that obviously, I mean he acts human, that's all.
If you start dressing him up and taking him to school though I may get worried

I know what you meant, t'was funny
Won't be dressing him up, and he really isn't a surrogate kid, although I can see why we've been asked that, but as we don't want any children, we wouldn't be looking to substitute one with a bun, but Berts is so responsive and charismatic that we just treat him as a personality I suppose

I can vouch for that, he really is a bunny with a difference, he responds to people better than other bunnies, he's gorgeous :luv: :luv: :luv: :luv:
