You do realise that the title of this thread could lead to your front door being kicked down by a burly copper!

he does occasionally chew paper, but generally no, the bag stays in tact - What was the thought, out of interest? Smile

Just wondered, I bed mine of newspaper and covered in hay and have a couple who will dig to get to the newspaper and sit there happily chewing on it, it alays worries me that there is anything toxic in newpaper ink and thought that paper bags filled with hay would be better for those that prefer to eat paper, if that makes sense Laughing Laughing

I have never understood why some bunnies want to eat paper and have always wondered if it's harmful, I think not because they don't eat enough of it

Interesting that Bertie eats the contents, I think I am going to give it a go with some of mine Thumbs Up

Makes sense Smile I've read that black ink newspapers are Ok, but the colour ink is toxic (hope someone can confirm that, or not), I use black ink newspaper, and have had no ill effects, and I suppose paper is only pulped wood, and they can eat wood, so maybe that's why they like it Smile

Bertie likes to play with the bag, but he doesn't normally eat it, and brown paper is not processed and bleached like white paper, so i would give it a try Smile You can get rolls of it from DIY stores Very Happy
