How long off dried food?
After his tummy upsets over the last few days (he's really well today ) As the 2 incidents have so closely resembled his compaction problems (mornings only, similar poo patterns), I want to keep him off dried food for a couple of days, and if it's OK to do it, until the end of the week, with maybe just the odd SS pellet as a treat, and give him hay, herbs and veg.
He doesn't have that much dried food these days anyways, only about 10 SS pellets and a thimble of museli, which I stopped giving him last Saturday. Knowing how delicate digestion is esp. at the mo, is this a good idea?
Thanks

Taking the pellets out provided he is still getting a blend of vegetables & herbs plus free access to hay (and actually eating it) shouldn't do him any harm at all. Many people have rabbits who never eat dried food which is fine for most adult buns in good body condition.

Just a thought, do you want to try Bertie with the Oxbow Bunny Basics T which I use? I have had had a huge bag delivered here so have some to spare.
I think they are higher in fibre than SS and are Timothy Hay based. All our bunnies seem to thrive on them
