Monty - my little friend

My first post in Rainbow Bridge for one of my own. My beautiful little Monty was found this morning by my mum curled up just near his bed. He was 20 months old.

September 2007 - 11th May 2009

My little monty. you came into my life when i saw you up for adoption in Pets At Home. i had to have you. I bought you a lovely big cage and so many toys you had your own chest of drawers with all your things. You were so spoilt.
I wish i had been at home to be able to say goodbye to you properly, but i trust that my mum will give you the send off you truly deserve.

he did, he was majorly spoilt because he was so active. mum noticed he was just walking about his cage not going mad like normal so thought something wasnt right. the day after he slipped away.

Im going to miss him alot, he wasnt handled as much as hamsters should be when i was at uni, but his cage was massivewith climbing walls and little castles in and tents, hammocks etc so he wasnt bored, but whenever i went back he was still as friendly, he never bit anyone excepy my ex lol.


Mum put him inside his bed and buried him in his bed so he can carry on sleeping. he is under a rose bush called sweet dreams.
