Can Nomad Have Some Vibes Please...U/D 11th July

Nomad is having a Dental today. He is 7 now and over the last few days his poos have gotten small and last night he had difficulty eating a chunk of carrot. He's still eating lots of hay though. Christabel had a look at his teeth this morning and said he has several sharp spurs. He has had to go to the surgery on his own cos his partner Sarah is too frail to travel.

Things are not good for Nomad
He got through his GA without a problem. He had several molar spurs but no soft tissue damage.
Half an hour of getting him home he had a seizure and stopped breathing. I managed to breathe for him and after what seemed like hours but was actually about 2 minutes he took several mouth-breathing gasps for himself and has now stabalised. I eventually got the chance to call Christabel and I am to get Nomad onto fluid therapy straight away.

Poor little Nomad, he looks so helpless and I dont think he can see now either

Sorry to hear this Jane, I hope little Nomad is comfortable. Am relieved to find I am not the only person to give a bun mouth to mouth though, I'm glad you had more success than I did.

Thanks for all your messages. Nomad is more stable now. I have put Sarah back with him which he seems to find comforting. I will stay up with him tonight.
