I would think I'd been seeing things, but Paul saw it too.
I'd put a blanket on the floor as we were clearing out the airing cupboard. He approraoched it with inquisitive head on, neck forwards, ears up, and he got onto it. It was quite rouched (sp) up , and his right back leg picked up on it's own and moved, the left leg did the same, and twice more as he manoevered over this blanket. The 2 legs were deffo working independantly and he was moving really slowly. They weren't picked up far, jus an inch or so to get them over the ridges.

Forgive me if this is completely normal, but I've never seen it before, and honestly thought it was impossible for ther back legs to move like that. scratch confused

Aw bless . Johns does a funny walk, we call it is sexy walk cos he looks like he is wiggling his bum.. he uses his back legs like normal (rather than hopping), usually when he is approaching something he not sure of ... we always hum the pink panther tune when he does it xxx

Most of our buns do it when they're unsure about new things, I call it 'doing army manouvers' Laughing

I have seen Gloria do it once when she is being very cautious and creeping up on something to sniff it - probably to see if she can eat it!

Mine does it too! He prefers to walk than hop really, the only time he hops is when he's startled or outside (the latter rarely happens as he seems to be getting increasingly lazy!) Rolling Eyes

Have seen ours doing it too!

Again, when they are sussing a strange object out. There must be a reason as to why scratch Is it quieter than hopping, a stiller, less obvious movement???? It is funny to see tho Smile
