Found a little bunny!!

So my best friend calls me last night saying there is a little black bunny outside their apartment that they have caught. I guess her husband had seen it the last few days and it practically came right up to their door last night so they caught it. He/she is obviously somebody's pet and not a wildie. They called me to come and get him so I have a new little friend!!

Now I'm not sure what to do with him... I called the rabbit vet in the area to see if anybody had reported losing a rabbit and I'm trying to find the number of the local rescue to see if anyone has called there.

Surprisingly enough, I want to keep him He snuggled with me today, actually snuggled! He's the friendliest little thing, not shy at all but very easy going. I have scheduled an appointment with the vet tomorrow to try and figure out how old he is and whether he really is a he... Anybody have any idea what kind of bun he/she is?? I'm not good with breeds...

Anyway, what do you think of him??

Well I took "him" to the vet yesterday, turns out he is a girl! My friend had named him Sanford before we knew but I think I'm going to keep her name the same The vet said she thought she was just a dwarf something, maybe a mutt rabbit sort of thing...

Nobody has claimed her yet so who knows... I put up an ad that I found her up on our online classifieds for the area and no luck there either. Only problem is hubby is not too happy... I just need to convince him that we should keep her and I'm golden! He wants me to take her to a shelter if we can't find her owner. We honestly don't have room for her so she would have to be bonded to Piper or Alfred and if that didn't work out we'd be in a predicament.

I found a stray bunny in January ...... and he's still here! Nobody wanted poor Felix and he's such a lovely fellow.

Hope that you can convince hubby that you really need this rabbit. I am sure you will manage it!

I don't think that would work with my hubby... he knows he'll get it from me anyway!

Well he vertainly knew wher to look for help...do you think we leave an odour that says to bunnies 'come to me'

He's delish, I'd be very tempted to keep him, after exhausting all attempts to reunite him, of course
