Sooty & Sweep
As you probably know we adopted Sooty and Sweep yesterday, here but it was such a rush I realised I hadn't told you their story, so here it is.
On Saturday I went to a resuce to look at bunnies, the rescue agreed that our set up sounded ideal but they turned us down on the basis of having children and them needing adult only homes. Anyway I spoke to Theo who suggested we try a rescue in Warwick. Well when I saw Sooty I fell in love. Theo had already spoken to them and said we might be interested in a pair of bunnies, and acted as our homecheck. So we were really lucky we were able to bring them home the same day.
Sooty is a female two year old nethie (not sure if she is pure nethie or cross), Sweep is a two year old male cross nethie and they have been waiting for a new forever home since July. Theo can give their story better than I can as she originally rescued them!. The family who had them had looked after them, but the son was studying and didn't want them anymore. As they were healthy, Theo passed them to the rescue for rehoming. It was only after we asked about their history we found out who had resuced them!
I'm pleased to say they are settling in well although Sweep is a bit shy and wary at the moment, but Sooty is more relaxed and out going. I think they are going to be a great addition to our family.

Re: Sooty & Sweep
Yay!, I rescued these two, they had been well looked after but the lad was studying for his exams and didn't have time to look after them anymore and so they gave them up, they are a gorgeous pair of bunnies, this is them the day they arrived
I am just so happy that they have got a lovely new home with Lynne, Dave and the boys, they will have a life of luxury
