Tiny bits of fur coming out -Anyone know what this could be?

I know Petal needs her vaccs and parasite treatment, but the vet told me I had to wait 10 days from her bout of diarrhea last weekend, so she can probably get it all done starting Tues. In the meantime I've noticed a couple of things. She's scratching more than I think she should, and I've seen some small loose bits of fur. Not a huge amount, just bits here and there. The fur comes out in tiny clumps, and not like a moult, because it has little scabs attached at the root. I've had to pull most of it out, but only because it's loose already. There's been some just under her face and one on her face. Is this mites? I've just treated Fuzz for walking dandruff, but his fur didn't seem to come out like this. If it is mites, do I have to treat them both for it, even though Fuzz has only just been treated with Xeno450?

Yep it sounds exactly like Mites, timmy gets them all the time. If fuzz has just been treated in the last 2 weeks then you'll only need to treat Petal!! Xeno450 should clear it all up, but to be safe I'd give Fuzz an extra dose a month after the one he's just had. - Timmy is just prone to mites, so he gets treated monthly now

Thanks Lille! Well, I guess that's two more boxes of xeno450 I'm going to have to get! I may ask the vet about injections, it might be cheaper..

I agree with Kirsty, it does sound like mites to me. They are usually most obvious in the fur along the spine, near the nape of the neck and on the rump. Remember to thoroughly clean the hutches after treating them with an Ivermectin based drop.
