My vets have done a very cool thing!

I rang to get my prescription for Bertie's 180 ml bottle of Metacam. The receptionist went and got Elizabeth vet, who I know well, and she asked me how much I pay on-line. They charge me £10 for the script, and then I pay £32 + P&P, so £44 in total. She said she'd try and price match it. We walked there, which took an hour in the snow, and when we arrived, she came out and told us that we could have the bottle for £44.50

They used to charge nearly £80 for it, so I'm thrilled to bits. I also took one of the HH handouts, and she put it up in reception -A good day

I managed to get my vet to match the internet price for Bobbie's Fortekor tablets. I do get narky with my vets as they never give a breakdown of costs when it comes to paying unless asked.

I'm really pleased cos I'd much rather give the money to the vets than an on-line co. The other thing is that it's really good customer service, and you don't that often enogh IMO. I'm liking my vets

I haven't had to price match meds yet, but tried to get a discount for multiple vaccinations, but they said NO.
