frickin' bumbums, Carlton has worms!! oi! JANE!!
I treated him for worms 4 or 5 months ago with good ol' Panacur for 9 days and it cleared it up a treat.
Now they are back! Am I right in thinking the a 9 day course doesn't not properly kill them off fully? should i do a longer course? how long?!
Panacur headache!!

Did you find out where he got them from? Maybe he got reinfested, even if the Panacur killed them all?

What dose of Panacur did you give?
30mg/kg is often needed for intestinal worms.

I read that they can get worm from mum's milk and i guess that's the case with him as he was quite young when he first showed signs.

ooh, mummy Jane! should an active worm problem be a jobs vet then?
i have the 18.75 paste by my side but if you think i should go to the vets, i'll do that instead.
i assume a normal 9 day course caused him to reinfect himself?
he's still a happy chappy but picking up his pops are making me heave!

he does like to save it for the times when ryan is so snowed under with work that he's there 12 hours a day. i think it will be Mummy Jane (my real mum!) to the rescue. She had to get the panacur today, bless her!

I think your getting parasitic intestinal worms confused with E.Cuniculi protozoans Laura.

Sorry Laura, I wasnt online much yesterday.
Yes, a higher dose of Fenbendazole is often required for stubborn little intestinal worms. My Vet recommends 30mg/kg for 3-7 days.

I'd quite like to see photos too - might be useful to put in the care reference section
