Dave Has Gone To His Forever Home :(

And I cried. He has got such a great home and despite having to be split this week so his stitches could heal, he and Tara instantly recognised each other and she started to wash him immediately. Their dog, Rosie, also wanted in on the washing action too! Dave looked a little scared as he has never seen a dog before to my knowledge!

Before I took him over he had his last check up at vets and was given the all clear!

Dave's new house is huge. He is going to be a house bunny and has free range of the kitchen diner, there is a huge cage in there too, with their litter and food in! It is amazing. I am so pleased! But man I miss him

Awww Charlotte that is such a hard thing to do. You know you have done the very very best for the wee man and now it is time to see him happy and settled. Well done.

What you have done with dave is amazing, and he is obviously going to have a wonderful life.

He wont think you have abandoned him as he is going to be soooo happy - but you will always hold a special place in his heart as he will in yours.

What a lovely story. I am so glad Dave's check up went well and he has now binkyed off into the sunset with his new bride, who waited for him. Sounds like he is going to have a wonderful life and you've made that all happen for him. A sort of Bunny Fairy Godmother. You granted Dave three wishes and have made them all come true. How special is that?

I really admire you - I know I was in bits when two of my kittens went to their new home - and I still see them regularly. Are you able to visit Dave at all?

You did so much for Dave that it would be weird if you didn't feel sad. Maybe you could ask them for a couple of photos of him when he's settled in, and you can look at how happy he is.

I had a text from Dave last night to sat that he is doing well and they are very impressed with how well litter trained he is!!!!! Still miss him though x
