Make Mine Chocolate
I wondered if anyone knew anything about what was happening with the Make Mine Chocolate campaign. It seems to have gone quiet recently and I was interested to know if there was anything planned for the run-up to Easter. Any ideas?

The only thing I could find on their website about this year was
Both the UK and US sites are still talking about 2009, perhaps they will be launching a new campaign and website soon, there is 2 months to go, so maybe something nearer the time will be more impacting?Easter 2010 - Introduce the Make Mine Chocolate!™ chocolate bunny

Re: Make Mine Chocolate
clicky - it's a campaign to make people think about an impulsive easter rabbit purchase, and get a chocolate, rather than a furry one
Re: Make Mine Chocolate
By chance my copy of 'Rabbiting On' (magazine for the Rabbit Welfare Association) arrived this morning and they have some additional information about Make Mine Chocolate, if anyone is interested.
It seems as though this year the focus of the campaign is on asking pet shops to suspend the sale of rabbits for two weeks over Easter 2010. So if anyone knows a pet shop that might be interested, please get them to register their interest by e-mailing easteramnesty@makeminechocolate.co.uk. In return the pet shops will get leaflets to hand out to customers explaining why they have joined the amnesty, how to look after rabbits properly, etc.
In addition, if anyone is interested in Make Mine Chocolate merchandise, it is all for sale via www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk. I wore my bunny badge over Easter last year and had no end of people asking what it was for and about the campaign.
