Me in shock! UPDATE bigger shock!!
I went outside this morning and saw some white fluffs in the outside playground. This alarmed me instantly so I went in to find the cage of Rufus and Rosie Lee wide open, with one frightened Rufus in the cage and no sign of Rosie. I found her behind the piggie's flat.
There were nog signs of heavy fighting though.
Strange...
We want to rearrange things soon because the frenchies don't seem to get on with the piggies that much.

Re: Me in shock! UPDATE bigger shock!!
I've found a bit of fur floating about the last week and know it has been Scout & Fivers. Sadly they always get a bit fiesty at this time of year so i just have to keep a close eye on them.

I'm the same with Wolfie and Gloria. He can be a bit of a bully with her sometimes, and I think the combination of it being Spring and Felix being nearby doesn't help. Need to keep an eye on him.

I think I explained this very bad.
I was scared the Frenchies had hurt them.

Re: Me in shock! UPDATE bigger shock!!
I got home yesterday after a long time away. I went outside with Cian and saw Matisse lying in a funny way. When I got closer, my heart stood still because Rufus was in the outside playpen with him !! I went in immediately and found the top cage open. Now it's this cage
and the closures are little hearts. I am very sure I closed it very well, besides, I hadn't opened it the day before. So Matisse is able to open it.
Then Matisse started chasing little Rufus and biting him. Just as well, Rufus came inside very soon so I could grab him and take him inside. I noticed he was hurt a little bit, not too bad, so I desinfected it and put him back with Rosie Lee.
Second time we are lucky, but action is needed now. I put some pannels of a playpen in front of the cage so Matisse cannot get closer.
But this is very bad for my heart!

Re: Me in shock! UPDATE bigger shock!!
Definitely due to Spring fever. Those heart-shaped closures are rubbish though, you will probably have to get some bolts to ensure it doesn't happen again. Poor you. Hope you had a sit down with some tea and biscuits after the shock.
