Hermione - one year on xxx

it has been one year today since I lost my beautiful girl. I know some of you are thinking why on earth am I bringing it back up, but I just don't want my girl forgotten. She was 14 months old and passed away after Theo and myself tried for 9 days battling her statis and heart problems after a spay She died of a massive heart attack at the vets.

She was the most amazing rabbit I have ever come across. Just so full of personality and was always a massive attention seeker. Her depart has left a gaping massive hole in my heart and I like keeping her memories alive. Here's some of my favourite photos when she was with us... I did a look around on my computer and found well over 1000 photos of just her... I lost most of her baby photos but I am just so thankful I took so many photos.

The very first day I got her home at around 5/6 weeks old!

that just made me cry too. that is a lovely memorial video. i especially love her drinking and her pink licky tongue. and those amazing ears.

J you talk about her as much as you want. Bring her up everyday if you feel you want to. Bless her heart.... she was and still is so very special. I can't watch the vid... I will cry. xxx

I cannot believe it has been an entire year.

I know how it feels to lose that special bunny oh to well, and i realyl feel for you Please talka bout her as much as u want to, because for me thats what keeps Peanut still in my life. And i need to do it every now and again, i think we all do.

This is so sad. You don't need to make excuses for bringing her up - it's your way of grieving and processing what happened. She's such a beautiful bunny

I think we were all affected by Hermione's passing, and happy to listen and support you Janak. She was an exceptional bunny

She was obviously an amazing amazing bun, who has left you with lovely memories that you will keep forever. You should share those whenever you want to.

Just seen this thread. Janak, I am sorry that you are still so bereft about her passing and that you still feel guilty. She had an absolutely fabulous life with you and you fought like crazy to get her well again. If she hadn't been speyed and had developed a tumour, you would feel bad on that score too. All we can do is act for the best. Everything you did, you did for the best of reasons and with love.
