Hermione is nesting
Just a bit of advice really, Hermione is starting to nest and has become very antisocial towards me. I know she is not pregnant cos Boo was done ages ago, so do we just ride it out? What can I expect? I plan to spay her next month. Faline and Hazel have never exhibited this behaviour so it is new to me. Thanks for any advice/tips

Luna still does it and she is spayed. I just leave her too ...she's normally moody for about a week, then nests, once she's built the nest she's fine. She has two small soft toy rabbits she likes to groom, not sure if that helps but she's done it less since I got them.

Re: Hermione is nesting
Poirot had a fake pregnancy. Keep a bit of an eye on whether she is touchy towards the other buns as well as you. A lot of that seems to depend on their basic personality anyway.
Apart from that just amuse yourself watching her bounding around with a mouthful of bedding
(Poirot's didn't last long - a couple of days and she was as back to as normal as she gets )

Re: Hermione is nesting
She should stop when she is spayed, some unspayed doe's will constantly nest build even plucking out their fur and it's so sad, other's don't seem to bother. You still get the odd spayed doe who will have a phantom pregnancy, Helen has had two Bless her up to now and when she has them she is quite aggressive towards us and Baby Saint.

Re: Hermione is nesting
Thanks guys, she is very irritable towards everyone, she is constantly wagging her tail at me and Boo & Easter and doesn't want anything to do with me at all. Perhaps I should spay her first.
Lilygrace, I will put some soft toys in for her, that's a great idea. She may have adopted Pip as her baby
