Candice after her op (Don't look if squeemish)

Our beautiful Candice was speyed today, we were very worried about her because she is an elderly bunny and has cataracts, she came through the operation quite well but is still very quiet, however, when she was speyed it was discovered that she had the start of Uterine Cancer , our wonderful vet has done her best to remove it all but only time will tell.

Poor girl Good to hear she got through the surgery OK. She looks like a precious gorgeous lady

Can you describe what is in those photos? Is that her ovaries at the end? Where is the cancer? Sorry i'm no good at anatomy.

Well that was done in good time. I really hope that she goes on to have a long and happy life.

Have marked it with a box, it's just starting and so hopefully caught it in time

That's the bit I thought it was. Horrible. Really chilling to have something so dangerous quietly growing inside you.

I've never seen cancer before. Poor girl, fingers crossed it hasn't spread
