Twitching and Kicking Empty Twitching and Kicking

Post by animalcrazy Sat Jun 19, 2010 6:08 am

Since day 1 Lenny twitches when he stands on 2 feet and he even kicks his front legs suddenly.. I am not sure if these are binkies since he twitches when he is in his cage.. His twitching increases when I am near his cage...

Can anyone help me diagnosis this odd behavior?

Thanks!

They aren't binkies - does he do it just before he licks his paws and cleans? It's a wild bun behaviour to get the dirt off their paws before wetting them to wash their face and ears, or just to get dirt off their paws Smile

I agree with Jay - I think hes just doing his bunny thing!

Sending nose rubs for him anyway!

He does this before he eats or cleans himself...I got a little worried since Sasha doesnt twitch and kick before cleaning...

Thank you! I am glad to know that he doesnt have some nervous problem Smile

It's normal behaviour, most bunnies do it when they are going to wash or clean themselves
