Hello there,

welcome to happy hoppers! Wave

A good healthy balanced diet - plenty of hay to eat, buns should have 80% hay, a good good high fibre nugget, small-sish amount of veg, you can include some carrot and fruit (but not too much) lots of excersize, lots and lots and lots of space and oodles of love and attention. Hay should always be a staple of the bunny diet. It helps prevent tooth problems and is the best thing for them.. They should not eat straw though.

Vaccinations are a must really, and neutering is also always a very very good idea when they are old enough.

Please feel free to post any questions you many have we are always happy to help.

We would love to see some piccies of your gorgeous bundles of fluff!

Enjoy the site. Wave

Welcome to HH. It's great that you have chosen to have rabbits as pets, but if you haven't had buns before, you need to do your homework so that they have happy lives and you don't spend too much time at the vet.

KatieB is spot on the money with her advice. Lots of hay, as much as they want to eat, and carrot and fruit only as a treat once or twice a week. Bunnies need to eat lots of hay so that their tummies work properly and the hay helps to wear their teeth down which never stop growing.

Hoping to hear lots more about your buns.
