I don't know what to say - the most awful news.

I am praying for a miracle for Bertie.

Come on Bertie, you just have to get better. My heart goes out to you and Paul, Jay. You are all still very much in my thoughts xxx

I am sending all the vibes I can Jay. I can't get him out of my mind and jump everytime my phone beeps

Jay has just rung with the worst news possible, Bertie has left for the bridge , Jay and Paul are totally devastated

Have just spoken to Jay again and he is sorry but can't face coming on the forum just yet, he appreciates all your messages but as you can imagine both he and Paul are utterly distaught

As soon as I read this i just started crying. It sounds so silly when ive never met Bertie, but ive met Jay and like Theo and Charlotte have said he is just going to be so devastated, its just made me well up.

Bertie was just the most amazing bunny, And i cant believe hes gone, such a key member of HH, with his amazing videos and photos.

I'm in a bit of a twilight zone, I didn't sleep a wink last night, and now I've had too many brandies, which is helping, I know I shouldn't, but I just can't take it in.

I was speaking to Charlotte this afternoon, and I said that without him, I wouldn't even be speaking to you now - and actually, without him, I wouldn't have had the pleasure of meeting all you HH'ers, on, and off-line. We have so much to be grateful for, he gave back to us more than we ever could give him, and we feel so privileged to have had the guardianship of this amazing little bundle for the time that we did. Your help, love and support throughout that time has been invaluable, and at times a great comfort. His life could not had the quality it had without drawing on all of your experiences and knowledge, and we owe HH and you all a massive debt of gratitude
Thanks to Charlotte and Theo for putting up with teary phone calls, and the other messages and texts have been really appreciated x

Im so so so sorry to hear this. Absolutely devastated for you Jay and Paul. Cried most of the afternoon. Bertie was an amazing wonderful boy who really has made a difference and touched the hearts of so many.
