Mindy blew up the PC

Well last night Roger switched on the PC then walked out of the room while it was firing up, it takes ages usually. Then I heard a loud bang, but did'nt really pay much attention as I was on my laptop and thought that Roger had just knocked something off the table. A few minutes later I could smell burning and started looking around to see where it was coming from. Turned out to be the computer. I unplugged everything from the processor and could see that the fan was all clogged up with fur. So I guess that is what did it. I had hoovered the back of the processor a few times to remove the fur, but obviously not often enough.Mindy's fur gets everywhere, who would have a house rabbit.

I know this all too wel. It happened to my TV the night before my son was born.
I had 4 cats then, who adored sleeping on top of the TV

Oops We learnt his the hard way too, and Paul cleaned the fan every month.

God Ive never thought of that!

Whoops!!

Years ago a friend's hamster escaped and one afternoon we heard a loud bang and saw what looked like fireworks coming from the understairs toilet. We switched the mains off and pulled out the panels behind the toilet and found the lost hamster, mid bite on a fat wire. The hamster was bbq'd with melted eyes and was still clutching onto the wire.

It could have been much worse!
