Ever since I read about HH forum members visiting Watership Down I have wanted to see it for myself and last weekend I did!
It was also the perfect place to scatter some of Benny's ashes. Benny was our special bun who sadly left us three years ago.

We followed the Nuthanger Walk from the Royal Oak pub in Ecchinswell and took a detour towards the down from Nuthanger farm itself, then at the top of the down we found the beech tree where the names of the Watership Down bunnies are carved. We couldn't believe we found everything as we normally get very lost doing walks!

Rabbit names. Elsewhere on the tree we found Bigwig and Fiver's names

What lovely photographs. It truly is a beautiful place. What a lovely place to scatter your bun's ashes.
