Mystery Cut / spot Empty Mystery Cut / spot

Post by KatieB Wed Oct 06, 2010 9:02 pm

Ive just been cuddling my boy and he has a funny cut/spot on his back. Its round like a spot has been bleeding and he has some smaller little scabs around the area. Around the scab it looks like the skin has been shedding.

Any ideas.

Have tried to get a photo but my camera is rubbish and they are not coming out properly.

Has he been vaccinated recently? Could it be a scab from that?

What shape is the area and are there any other patches of missing fur? Just wondering if it could maybe be ring worm.

He may just have caught his back on something though.

I wouldn't worry about it to be honest. Just keep an eye out that it is a solitary bit. He might have scratched himself when he was grooming.

I hope it's healing. I guess it could've happened here, he did have a thorough grooming just before he left.

I all seems to be healing up nicely. He has a cheeky head on this morning. Just been to the Gym and discovered my headphones have been nibbled! grrrrrrr
