Hi there - here's Poppy!
Hello,
I was on this forum (I think) a couple of years ago with my 6 year old dutch cross/wild rabbit Brandon. Unfortunately he passed away due to natural causes, and a few months ago I came across Poppy in our local pet shop. She was the last of her litter to be sold from the breeder and all her brothers and sisters had been sold, she was in a new pen full of lionheads who were half her size... I picked her up and watched her for a few days (she had the most docile temperament and sweet character I had ever seen. When any of the staff came to give them clean water and food she would stand on her hind legs until they patted her on the head and then she's run around in circles and play with her rope toys. Needless to say I fell for her... and here we are 4 months later!
She lives half in and half out of the house, and our garden is secured so she has free roam (supervised) when she's out. She is also best friends with our dog and when she sleeps in the house they spend a lot of time grooming each other (instigated by her).
I have added a link here to a photo album on my Facebook, but I was using my camera phone so they aren't the best pics in the world!
