Brynn
I don't have time to write too much right now... but my poor girl is sick.
It was a rough night... spent 2+ hours at the emergency vet and was not overly pleased with the service/level of care. She was so sick she was actually jumping into my arms because being cuddled was better than sitting in her carrier (so not Brynn). She hates being held, poked and prodded thus the vet is not a pleasant experience for her.
She is definitely feeling better this morning, but it was a long night for me (and her). She's eating a few pellets and her droppings are looking normal, but small.
I'll fill you in on more later.

Re: Brynn
Ugh... so not enjoying life right now.
Stasis... so much worse than Hippo had that one time.
She's doing better, but she's still clearly in a lot of discomfort. It breaks my heart to see her unhappy. She just doesn't want to move and she's got these sad little eyes. Oh... she also HATES me now for force feeding her meds and critical care.
Thanks for the vibes.

Re: Brynn
Just realized I posted this in the wrong spot Sorry peeps!
Can't think straight right now. I find myself constantly walking into rooms and saying "why did I just come in here?"
Oh yah.... We got pulled over and given a speeding ticket last night too
There's nothing left to do but laugh

She's still not doing great. Not bad, but not great. She is eating, but not in the way that she usually does. She seems very agitated. She keeps rearranging her bed and throwing her toys and bowls around like she is mad at the world. She also pushes my hand/syringes away anytime I come near. She hunches in a corner as soon as she sees me It's going to be MONTHS before she trusts me again.
I'm just wanting her to be back to normal! Poor girl!

Re: Brynn
Glad that there is a little improvement. I am sure she will trust you again, she just needs to get better first. At least she has Hippo to comfort her so she isn't on her own. xx

Hippo has been quite a guy! He's so jealous that Brynn gets medication and he tries desperately to get some too

Re: Brynn
I hope she's feeling better soon, I'm realy sorry, it's such a worry Has the stasis been brought on by anything else (e.g. pain)? I'll keep sending vibes for her, and calms for you
Re: Brynn
Vibes for Brynn... believe me you may think she will take forever to forgive you but she will soon forget xxx
Re: Brynn
Sending Brynn lots of healing vibes. It's horrible trying to force buns to eat and take medication. I always feel like a torturer but know there is no choice. It would be much more cruel to stand back and allow our precious fur babies to suffer.
Big hugs for you and your fur family xxx

Re: Brynn
Glad she is eatng now - thats got to be a brilliant sign?
Any ideas why she got the Stasis?
I bet once she is feeling tip top she'll love you millions again.
Hippo is so funny - bless him, typical boy - doesnt want to miss a trick.
Anyway sending you both loads of vibes and big hugs....

I'm really not sure Jay. I'm keeping my eye out for anything strange but if she doesn't change soon I'll be taking her in for x-rays.
She binkied while she was out this morning...... but then spent the rest of the day sleeping by the heater...?!?! She is eating well now. I'm very confused.

Re: Brynn
I am sorry EM I know how frustrating and upsetting, all this is Fingers crossed you get her sorted soon. She may just be picking up on what's been going on, and it could of stressed her a bit - our furries are so sensitive to these things too. Lots of )))vibes((( and hugs
