Hello every bunny
Hello, my name is Jo and I live in Liskeard, Cornwall; I am disabled and my husband Paul is my carer.
We have one house bunny called Mr Snuffle-Snuffles, five guinea pigs, two cats, a hammie (Mr Roly-Poly-Loved-a-Lot) and a Tarantula Spider called Mrs Fluffy Furry Friend. They are all adored and spoilt rotten!
As you have already gathered, I am quite potty!!
I did have another bunny, Mr Cosie Snuffles, who died for no apparent reason on 5th December. He was only a year old and we were, and still are, absolutely heart broken. Then a couple of days later we had to have our oldest Guinea Pig. Mrs Honey Cuddle-Hugs (all the piggies have the last name “Cuddle-Hugs”) had to be put to sleep on the 8th, so it was a bad time.
Sorry to mention this as soon as I join but I still miss them both so very much. Snuffie is 8 years old and we are not going to get another bunny just yet.
I look forward to meeting many other lovely bunny mummies and daddies and I am sure I will make some lovely friends.
Love to you all
Jo

Re: Hello every bunny
Welcome to HH, where we are all potty! You will fit in very well.
I am sorry to hear about your losses. Unfortunately, buns do get ill sneakily and by the time you realise, it is often serious.
Have fun browsing and remember to post some photos.

Re: Hello every bunny
Hello Sarah, Nicky and Katie
Thank you for your lovely warm replies and I look forward to being part of what is undoubtedly a lovely family. Thank you also for your lovely sympathies, it is what is needed when a bun is lost and we are all there for each other.
Thank you for pictures of your buns; they are all gorgeous. I will post some of mine soon but I am not terribly good at it. On the "Wheekers" website I was able to download my album of babies I still have successfully, but when it came to downloading the babies passed on, despite doing everything the same, it refused to show anything but text, so we shall see.
Yes, Nicky, buns do go down fast and even if we had knows earlyer that Cosie was ill, I don't think we could have done anything for him. We have a feeling, and please feel free to correct me if you think I am wrong, that Snuffles is a carrier of something, possibly E. Cuniculi. He has survived a few others bunnies who all seem to have gone the same way.
Anyway m'dears, I wil not rabbit on anymore, but I am so excited to be a part of this lovely place and I look forward to making lovely friends.
Noserubs to all
Love Jo, and Mr Snuffie Snuffles xxxx
