Need Opinions

I need some advice. I have been in contact with a girl regards to her rabbit Achillies, she needs to rehome him. He seems like a very sweet bunny however when asked about his health she said he has no health issues that she is aware of. However he has sneezed since he was a young rabbit and sometimes has a runny nose. Her vet has assured her its nothing to worry about. She took him to the vet today and his health, weight and teeth are fine. He is on a course of anti biotics and said it’s a case of managing his flair ups but nothing to be concerned about.

My only concern is, I would want to bond him if I could take him. However if what he has (I am guessing snuffles) would this spread to other rabbits? And how difficult is it to manage?

There are differing opinions on this, but personally I'd never see it as a problem. I've always paired up bunsters with pasteurella etc - Go for it!

I was told by a specialist that it's contagious in a closed, unventilated and stressful environments, like a rabbit farm, but that between buns who live in a ventilated relaxed environment, the risks of cross contamination are there, but minimal. i.e. it's improbable, but possible.

In November we had a bond on here with one snuffles bun, and one not, and so far the other is fine

I am not sure what to do as he is very sweet lion head cross, his about 5 years old and I was thinking of bonding him with one of Dee Millens rabbits (young or a retired one), but either way I don’t want it spreading to a healthy bun. I am not sure what to do for the best.
