You have to feed the right thing at the right time of day in this house so it is always veg in the morning, pellets at 7pm, new hay just before bed. Try changing it up and it won't get eaten til the right time!

Thumper loves her routine! I swear she can tell the time. 9PM and she comes looking for a bit of veg.

The rest of the time it's pellets, her tummy can't handle too much veg any more.

Florence gets stroppy if she doesnt get pellets in the morning, see photoshoot thread! Now she's getting a lot of veg she isn't eating as many pellets (hooray) but there is just some need in her mind for some in the morning.

Veg gets eaten all up as soon as it's in there, whereas pellets get left. I haven't yet found any veg she hasn't liked either which is handy

I am pretty sure out of the two our bun would choose pellets, however if she could have anything at all all the time I think it would be barley rings.

Daiz has his routine too.....nugs at 7am and 6pm SHARP, veg at 8 am and 6pm but a bit more flexible on time.

He always eats all the nugs and the veg often depends on whats offered up and his mood.

Normally Joey will mug you for nuggies, and if it was left up him he'd nom as many as he could Laughing

Instead he gets 1 egg cup full a day (1/2 in the morning and 1/2 and 5.30, prompt) and aside from all his hays, he snacks on plantain, rosemary, and various 'forage'.
