Foster Placement May Be Required: Trio of Nethies
I may have to find a foster home for Marley, Dolly and Skye due to personal issues. It would just be short term, a few months at the most. Nothing is for certain and i have no idea when a place will be needed or if it will even be necessary, but i thought it would be in the buns best interests to prepare for the worst and have something in place, just in case.
If anyone may be able to help or know of someone who may be able to help, please get in touch. I can explain the situation better then.
They are all up to date with vaccinations, can live indoors or out and i can provide indoor accomodation if necessary. Were in Saltburn nr Middlesbrough.
Thanks, and Im sorry this post doesnt give much away. I dont really feel like talking about it at the moment.

Thank you Maysie. As i said, it may not come to it, or it may not be neccessary until the middle of next year! Its just something id like to have in place, just incase. Wherever they go, they need plenty of space or Skye just gets harrassed by Dolly. xx

They will have plenty of space don't worry, and they will be treated just like our own buns...spoilt rotten! It's up to you I just want you to know whatever there is always a place for them here and you can always come and view at where they will go even if Mike collects you and takes you home after

Will you foster me for a while Maysie? I'll leave the buns with the neighbours!
I hope things don't get too bad Sophia - we will all be thinking of you.

I'd be worried they might not want to return to me if they went on holiday with Maysie if it was my buns I knew Maysie would help you out xx

What a lovely kind offer Maysie. Sophia, they will certainly be very well looked after and if your situation changes, you know that it is only short-term.
I hope whatever is happening in your life settles down for the better. Thinking of you.

Re: Foster Placement May Be Required: Trio of Nethies
Thanks everyone, I didnt see any of these posts after my last one. Its not the first time Maysie has offered and im sure they will be fine having a holiday with the Tuckerbunnies.
Cut a long story short, my mum is leaving dad. Dad has gone to his parents for a week or so to sort it out in his head, but at some point we will have to put the house up for sale. Ill probably be going with mum, but the last thing either of them are going to be concerned about is sorting out rabbit accomodation.
As ive said before, it might not be necessary for them to be fostered out, but id feel more comfortable if there was something in place, just incase. I have no idea whats going on, whats going to happen or where we'll end up, I just want to know my buns will be ok until things are sorted.

Sorry to hear that Sophia, I hope things go as smoothly as they can and your trio couldn't be in better hands, if that's where they go

Re: Foster Placement May Be Required: Trio of Nethies
Thanks everyone. I dont think its really sunk in properly, im just stressed out because ive got all sorts going on, but sh... happens. The worst thing that could possibly happen is that things start to get nasty between the pair of them, or that dad moves so far away that id only be able to see him every couple of months. I have no idea how my brother is going to take it, or what will become of dad, those are the 2 things that worry me the most.
Ive just got no motivation for anything other than college and the buns, its the only thing that takes my mind off other things, but at the same time its just another source of stress. I just try not to think about anything too much for now.

Sophia, I am so sorry to hear about the reasons for your dilemma. I think putting your buns to Maysie while things settle is probably a good idea. The buns will have stability and you will know they are well looked after until you know where you are living. You will be reunited again.

I'm very sorry to hear that you're going through such a horrible time
I hope things work out as well as they can for you all, and remember that the hoppers are always here for you too.

Thanks guys, as always
At the moment, the buns are the one thing keeping me sane. They still have their routine, but once the house sells and we find somewhere to move to, it might be a good idea.
