we've not had the best of nights, little man hasn't really eaten and we haven't got poops!
really tearful Mummy (which my parents dont really understand). I've phoned our home vet practice for advice but we are down in Nottingham..all very stressy. Last night when I went to bed his breathing seemed really heavy and an effort but he dosn't seem like that this morning..We've had cuddles and fusses and nosey rubs and I've managed to get a bit of banana and strawberry puree into him and done tummy rubs....

keep the vibes and hugs coming...we both need them

What did your vet recommend you do?

Don't worry about your parents, I've not cried as much in my whole life as I have in the last 3 weeks and there are probably some people who think I'm insane. I couldn't care!!! Let it out and never mind any funny looks you get.

Have you been able to see a local vet to get some metacam and critical care?

We've heard back from Jo..I've got metacam and baytril with me so we are upping the metacam...Ive managed to get some fluid into him via a syringe and his grandpa has gone toget some basil. Jo has booked him in for a dental 1st thing Tuesday morning (we got back tomorrow) BUT I'be got her on-call mobile number...we are doing soggy excel pellets and mashed banana to get him eating...

I've had a good cry and having messed him about a bit we got stroppy heel flciks so Im going to get dressed and go for a walk with Mum and Dad....

We had a rabbit called Keegan who had tooth root problems , he had his front incisor teeth removed when he was months old due to malocclusion and ended up with tooth root problems and osteomyelitis in his jaw bone.

well we have signs that he has tried to poop tiny little clump in his fur when I got back from a walk with Mum and Dad...he has just been given some extra soggie weetabix through a syringe and nommed it well...I really do think it is teeth spur stopping his food!

he has done the indignent heel flicks and had a strop

That sounds positive. If you can kill the pain and get food in him, he will hopefully pick up before he has his dental. Get well soon Fudgeybaby.

Nickie Ive got metacam and baytril and as long as i can fill him with soggy weetabix and fluid we are half way there...just need to keep him strong for the GA dental on Tuesday....

Another feed with weetabix, veggie water and some strawberry puree and when he thumped off afterwards a poop got flicked at me! A fresh poop!

Who knew we would ever get excited about a bun aiming poop at you haha but YAY!! Good going Fudge!

We are syringe feeding Faith at the moment baby food, tonight she has had 'Ellas kitchen' carrots, apples and Parsnip and she loved it, Mike mixes it with a bit of Critical Care and in 2 hours time she will be having 'Hipp Organic' apple, strawberyy & banana' baby food. All the supermarkets sell them and they are only a £1 each.

Fudge has been on weetabix and Ella's kitchen strawberry and banana I have just done another feed and included vegetable water too-settled him on my knee and we had poops stuck to the underside that were new and a much more active tummy
