Missies uterus - *WARNING* photos, do not look if squeamish

As many of you know Missie was speyed today and it was found that her uterus was abnormal, it was full of fluid and mucous, she also had a totally mastectomy because she had cysts beneath her nipples.

I took these photos

yes, that's one of the ovaries, I think the pictures of the nipples are interesting too! you can actually make out the nipples they are the dark bits!!

Actually, that's just what happened, we were poking it with an empty syringe and then Paula dissected part of it and that was really interesting, that's when you could see it was full of mucous!!

Poor little mite. What an ordeal for her. I do hope she has a quick recovery.

Still not eaten or wee'd or poo'd yet, but hopefully with that out of her she will soon get better
