Vetbed Empty Vetbed

Post by Sue_pawz Tue May 01, 2012 10:52 am

As my bunnies can not be deterred from peeing on their snuggly wool cushion, I am going to be confiscating it and replacing it with vetbed, which I understand dries quicker than other stuff?

Anyway, one thing I was wondering was will it smell less? If so it will make OH happy - although she loves them anyway.

I think I'm getting the cow print one Very Happy

Marvellous Very Happy For some reason they have taken to peeing outside the litter tray, all over the cushion Sad They adore the new cage, spend so much time snuggled in it, flopped out together (see below) but just won't confine the widdling to the litter tray. It is at least confined to the cage.

Vet bed is good but remember to wash it on 30 as it will last a lot longer and keep it's fluffiness .

We have vetbed, and I really like the idea of it, but it's currently rolled up under the spare bed Laughing

Junior was a little horror with it and would go out of his way to pee on it literally minutes after I put it in. It was like a game to him!! Mad Little sod!!! I couldn't take any more of it so I took it away. They have 2 blankets in the pen to get comfy on, and they do!

But they were, and still are, very young. I fully intended taking it back out for them in the winter.

I will put some in after Molly is spayed too Smile

I brought Daisy some vetbed.....he wee'd on it and pulled at the threads, then pee'd on it some more and then pushed it out of his way.

I know that some buns like it - but daisy really didnt.

Laughing Laughing that made me chuckle as I can imagine him having a wee on it and then pushing it to one side with a paw Laughing

I also got a look that clearly said "clear it away woman, and fetch me a carrot while you are at it!"

Well, I'm going to get some today, but I'll just get one bit for the test run as it ain't cheap, so I don't want to buy several and then find out they don't like it.
