Dougal is a little...

I think I mentioned on here, I've cut the bunnies pellets right down. When Dougal went to the vet last week I was told he is borderline overweight, and also the right side teeth are longer at the bottom than the top, so I want them to up their hay intake.

I got in from work and gave them their herb tea, Dougal didn't touch it. This is very unusual, so I gave him a piece of carrot, which is his favourite. He ignored that too. Starting to panic I gave him some brocolli, which is also a favourite, and he ignored that. So I went and grabbed a handful of pellets, laid my hand out in front of him and he snatched them He ate them all, apart from a couple Florence stole, and he is now tucking right into his tea

Mug?! Yup that's me He has had the major sulks about the reduction in pellets so I should have guessed he would protest!

It amazes me that some people just don't fathom how incredibly intelligent these rabbits are. Carla has two very bright and beautiful bunnies. They could be ambassadors! When I have friends over that just don't get it I put on some of the videos with Florence and Dougal, Sparky & Gizmo and many of the HH bunnies!
