Re: Ok for buns?
Yes it is fine - I used something very similar in mine's digging box. You can also use yesterday's news which is simiar. Or you can use products like carefresh/tumblefresh or if you can get hold of it Megazorb which is similar to carefresh but it is a horse bedding and much cheaper. If you want to be sure about these sorts of things check the Bunny Bazaar website (which is the rabbit welfare shop) or the Hay experts. If either of those sell it then you can be fairly confident that it is suitable.

Re: Ok for buns?
I'll start off with care fresh because I have a little bag left over, but it's so expensive to use regularly! I've looked for megazorb before but never been able to find it, not on the internet. Thank you

Re: Ok for buns?
I think both websites also stock smart bedz which is a straw based pelleted litter which was trialled here a while back and it is really absorbant.

Re: Ok for buns?
I struggle to find it locally to me as well. I use it for the pigs in the winter and end up doing lots of sums to work out who dies the best price plus delivery for 4 bags.

Re: Ok for buns?
Our local pet shop lady, Lisa, was kind enough to start stocking MegaZorb just for us. Now she does a roaring trade in it. Maybe you should ask your local pet shop lady if she can get it in for you. Bear in mind that she will have to buy a minimum of one pallet from Northern Crop Driers.

Re: Ok for buns?
I don't have a local pet shop lady or man they're all chains, there's one little pet shop but it is very little, and I couldn't ask them to stock it just for me (especially since I'll only have one bun so a sack would last forever) I'll try that stuff I posted and if it doesn't work out I'll order some megazorb

Re: Ok for buns?
There are equine stockists of megazorb in your area - I seem to remember looking up for someone before. Just get out the yellow pages and phone around the equestrian supplies people and ask if they stock it. It is cheapest that way and it is suitable for most small furries.

We use Yesterday's News. The brand you gave the link to said that it had INSECT REPELLENT in it. I don't think that would be a good thing for bunnies. There are no doubt other paper brands available there in the UK.
