Fingers crossed for the wee nethie gang. Is is true that nethies like lionheads are more prone to dental issues because of their head shape?

Yes that's correct we have 11 dental bunnies altogether and most of them are the Nethies and Lionheads.

Skylark and Siskin and Linnet all have perfect back teeth but their front teeth override a little bit and so we have to keep an eye on them, Simon who I thought would have serious tooth problems has perfect teeth at the moment and doesn't have to go back to the vet's till 4 months time and Pepsi has to go back as there is blood on his gums and she doesn't know why so she is going to have a look.
Pepsi doesn't eat a lot at all and we have been quite worried about how little he does eat of his greens, pellets and hay, he seems to spend most of the day sleeping but then his x owners split a 3ft hutch up as they had Pepsi and Fudge together in it and they fought being two males and so their tiny hutch was divided and Fudge lived in one half and Pepsi.....in the sleeping compartment Sad This could be why he burries himself under the hay and sleep a lot Bless him Sad

I am so pleased you have had good news in the main for the nethies.

And yes, bless little Pepsi. How old is he? How sad that he had such an awful life before coming to you and has not yet realised that he can now enjoy life. Lots of happy vibes coming his way xx

Pepsi is back at the vet's early Thursday morning as his mouth is quite inflammed so he's on metacam, the vet think's he may have caught his gum eating something.
