Has anyone bought any of this recently?

I ordered 2 bags weeks and weeks and weeks ago and I picked the green and stemmy option but its not green and stemmy at all, it's like grass!! I can only assume they gave me the only cut they had Sad

Just wondering if anyone has bought more recently and if you have, was it green and stemmy?

Thanks Smile

We have a bag bought from our local pet shop a couple of weeks ago. It's very green and stemmy.

Where do you get yours from?

Thanks Sparky Smile

I get it from The Hay Experts. I can't find anywhere to buy nice hay around here, other than pets at home and their selections is rubbish Hmmm

I have had it green and stemmy and more grass like. I only buy it when I see it and always go for the most green and stemmy stuff.

Thanks Cheryl Smile

I wish I could find somewhere to buy it so I could see it first but I just can't find anywhere!!!

We have p@h and that's about it! All the smaller pet shops I knew of have been out out of business because of them, even the Acorn pet place closed a few years ago. But their hay was worse than p@h's!!

We have a Dobbies out the road a bit but they only had one type of hay last time I was out there and it looked awful!!

I think that hay is going to be not as good this year after the rubbish summer we've had. I am going to buy a few big bales of hay for the rest of the winter next weekend as I think that it is going to be scarce and probably a lot more expensive.
