Bella's foot 9 days on ..

9 days today since she was 'accidentally' stood on

she is still holding it up and she gets quite tired after a bit of walking about

she is still showing signs of pain which is horrible to see , I want her to be back to normal again, she's on so much medication as it is. think we will get an appointment at the vets so she can be checked again/. its not broken so why is she not putting it down fully yet?

yes if she is in that much pain I would take her back

beautiful bunny ! the metacam is masking the pain so she's is probably using it when she should of been resting it

she is still clearly lame and it should of really resolved itself within a week or so normally when an animal is lame when it puts weight on the area it will raise its head because it feels pain.

a dog will over compensate when it is lame and limp quite badly but rabbits are prey so they rarely show pain unless its quite bad

yes sadly another trip to the vets how much weight went on her when she was stood on its so easily done they get everywhere you have to have eyes in the back of your head i've nearly launched mine in the air before when they suddenly jump on my foot when im walking ...

might have to restrict her complete hutch rest
